Reserve levels are grades that reflect the accuracy or reliability of the proven reserves. Reserve levels are one of the important indicators for measuring the degree of exploration in a deposit. According to the current regulations of China, based on the exploration research of the whole mine area, according to the degree of control over different parts of the ore body, the mineral reserves are divided into four grades A, B, C and D, and the industrial use and required conditions of the reserves at all levels. as follows:
Class A - is the reserve based on the mine preparation and mining operation plan, which is explored by the mine geological department. The conditions are:
(1) Accurately control the occurrence, shape and spatial position of the ore body;
(2) The faults, folds and fracture zones affecting the mining have been accurately controlled, and the lithology, occurrence and distribution of the magma and the damaged magma bunkers have been determined;
(3) The types, proportions and variations of ore industrial grades and types have been fully determined. In the case where mining and geological conditions are required, the ore industrial grade and natural type should be circled.
Grade B - is the reserve based on the design of the mine construction, and is the advanced reserve explored in the geological exploration stage, and can play the role of verifying the C-level reserves, generally distributed in the shallow part of the ore body, that is, the initial mining area of the mine. The condition is based on the C-level reserves:
(1) Detailed control of the shape, occurrence and spatial position of the ore body.
(2) In the scope of Class B, the faults, folds, fractures, and the nature and occurrence of the faults have been controlled in detail, and the lithology, occurrence and distribution of the main igneous rocks of the stone and the main ore body are destroyed. The situation has been basically determined.
(3) The types and proportions and changing laws of the ore industry type and grade have been determined in detail. In the case where mining and geological conditions are required, the main ore industrial type and grade should be circled.
Grade C - is the reserve based on the design of the mine construction, the conditions are:
(1) Basically controlling the shape, occurrence and spatial position of the ore body;
(2) Basic control of the nature and occurrence of large faults, folds, and fracture zones that damage and affect the main ore bodies, and the lithology, occurrence and distribution of the main igneous rocks of the main ore bodies;
(3) Basically determine the type and grade of the ore industry and its proportion and variation.
Class D - The use of this level of reserves is: further arranging reserves for geological exploration and prospecting of mine construction; for complex and difficult to find C-class reserves, a certain amount of D-class reserves can be used as design basis; for general deposits Some D-class reserves can also be used as mine construction design, with the following conditions:
(1) roughly controlling the shape, occurrence and distribution of the ore body;
(2) A general understanding of the geological structural features of the ore body that are damaged and affected;
(3) roughly determine the industrial type and grade of the ore.
