After 18 months of construction, the first large grain potassium fertilizer project in China was completed and put into operation in Qinghai Salt Lake Industrial Group Co., Ltd., located in the Qaidam Basin in Qinghai Province, filling the gap in the production of large-scale potassium fertilizer in China.
It is understood that the potassium fertilizer granulation technology is to roll powdered potassium chloride through roller press, crushing, screening and other cyclic operations, and finally form granular potassium fertilizer according to technical indicators. In the production process, there is a small amount of dust, but after closed dust collection and cyclone dust removal treatment, potassium chloride can be recovered to the maximum extent, and the final emissions will not pollute the air, and there will be no waste water and waste residue discharge in the production process.
The total investment of the 200,000-ton potash granulation project of Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Group Co., Ltd. is 87 million yuan. It is the largest and most technologically advanced granulation fertilizer project in China so far. Its potash granulation production equipment technology and equipment have reached international leading level.
China's arable land generally lacks potassium. Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Group is the largest supplier of potash fertilizer in China. At present, the annual demand for the large-particle potassium fertilizer market in China is between 800,000 and 1 million tons, all of which are dependent on imports. The completion of the 200,000-ton potassium fertilizer granulation project by the Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Group will allow the existing powdered potassium products to be upgraded to large grain products that are more popular in the market, which can ease the situation in which large-scale potash fertilizers in China are completely imported.
