Four types of public transportation and urban projects have been funded

The Ministry of Transport recently issued a notice to provide policies and financial support for the creation of cities for public transit cities to speed up the construction of urban integrated passenger transport hubs, urban smart public transport systems, and urban bus rapid transit monitoring systems, and to include the promotion and application of urban clean energy public transport vehicles in transport energy conservation. The Ministry of Transport will conduct random checks from time to time. If the funds are intercepted, misappropriated or fraudulently obtained in violation of the regulations, the qualifications for creating a public transit city shall be cancelled.

At the same time, the notice made it clear that all local transportation and transportation authorities should accelerate the improvement of systems, mechanisms, and supporting policies that are conducive to the creation of public transit cities under the unified leadership of the local government. Promote the establishment of an organization and coordination mechanism in which the main leaders of urban people's governments are responsible and relevant departments participate. To win the support of the people's government of the city, improve supporting supporting policies in terms of planning, construction, land use, road rights, funds, and taxation support. Actively coordinate the departments of finance and taxation, exempt the urban public transportation companies from newly purchasing vehicle purchase tax for public bus (electric) vehicles and urban land use tax at bus stops, and reduce or exempt the taxes on public transport vehicles by means of vehicles and taxes, and implement cities.
