On September 9, the press conference of the 2016 World Internet Industry Conference was held in Qingdao, Shandong. According to Tire World Network, the city has released the first batch of smart manufacturing demonstration pilot companies, including double-star tires, Sailong Jinyu, and Mori Kirin tires. These represent the advanced level of tire manufacturing in Qingdao, and also the leader in intelligent manufacturing in the Chinese tire industry. The Sailong Jinyu and Double Star tires are the 2015 and 2016 national intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration projects identified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance jointly released the 2016 Intelligent Manufacturing Integrated Standardization and New Model Application Project, and Mori Kirin tires were among them. The 2016 World Internet Industry Conference will be held in Qingdao from September 27th to 28th. The intelligent manufacturing of tires has become a highlight of this conference. The conference was jointly guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and co-sponsored by the Qingdao Municipal Government and the China Mechanical Engineering Society.
