The National Major Scientific Instrument Special Innovation Method Training was Held

From June 13th to 14th, the training course on special innovation methods for the national major scientific instruments and equipment was held in Beijing. Vice Minister Wang Weizhong of the Ministry of Science and Technology attended the opening ceremony and made an important speech. Responsible comrades of Ministry of Science and Technology Research and Finance, China’s 21st Century Agenda Management Center and National Science and Technology Infrastructure Platform Center, relevant personnel of the National Special Scientific and Technical Equipment Development Special Pilot Project Organization Department (Region), and the 2011 national major scientific instruments About 300 people, including project leader, main technical backbone, industrialization leader, technical expert group leader and project supervision team leader of the special equipment development project, attended the training course.

Vice Minister Wang Weizhong emphasized in his speech that the promotion of scientific and technological advancement and innovation, and the development of scientific instruments and equipment are both a forerunner and an important supportive condition. Therefore, in the implementation of the national special major scientific instrument and equipment development, one must deeply understand the special item in China’s scientific and technological innovation. The strategic position and role of economic and social development, conscientiously implement the spirit of deepening the reform of the science and technology system, and actively promote the engineering and industrialization of instrument development results; Second, we must learn and apply innovative methods to improve the efficiency of scientific instrument development. The third is to seriously combine the characteristics of special projects, innovate management, increase the efficiency of fund use, and strive to turn special projects into high-tech projects.

Prof. Tan Runhua of Hebei University of Technology, Prof. Li Yan of Sichuan University, Prof. Qi Ershi of Tianjin University and Director of the Fifth Institute of Electronics of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Xie Shaofeng respectively gave lectures on “Technological Innovation Process and Method”, “Innovative Design Method and Application”, and “Sci-Tech R&D "Management Innovation Methods" and "Reliability Management of Scientific Instruments"; Ms. Yang Lincun, Research Fellow of the Intellectual Property Affairs Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ms. Jin Yiping, General Manager of the Life Sciences Division of GE Healthcare Group, respectively, combined their respective work and introduced the "Technology Innovation "Intellectual Property Rights" and "Commercialization of Multinational Companies' Scientific Research Achievements - Industrialization - Internationalization Market Strategy".
