In order to promote the recycling of new energy vehicle power batteries, and to understand the application of waste power battery cascades, on September 15, 2017, Gao Yunhu, Director of the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization, led the China Railway Tower to develop new energy vehicle power battery cascades. The work carried out a special investigation. The party secretary and general manager of China Tower Company, Ji Jilu, deputy general manager Gao Buwen and responsible comrades of relevant departments participated in the survey.
The research team went to Langfang City, Hebei Province to investigate the new energy base station integrating solar photovoltaic, power grid and cascade battery utilization. Through remote video connection, we learned about the construction of base station energy storage and energy preparation projects in Heilongjiang Harbin, Gansu Jiuquan and Tibet Ali. And the operation situation, I heard the report of China Railway Tower Company on the use of new energy vehicle power battery cascade, and conducted in-depth discussions on recycling mode, cascade utilization technology and management mechanism. Since October 2015, China Railway Tower has built 57 decommissioning new energy vehicle power battery cascade utilization test sites in 9 provinces and cities including Heilongjiang and Tianjin, covering various usage conditions such as backup power, peak clipping and microgrid. The active use of the cascade utilization model has been actively explored.
China's new energy automobile industry is developing rapidly, and the production and use of power batteries has risen sharply. China is facing a large-scale scrap recycling problem. Accelerating the establishment of a recycling system for used power batteries is of great significance for promoting the healthy development of the new energy automobile industry and the construction of ecological civilization.
