The SASAC Information Center recently released the state-owned key enterprises' production and operations in the first four months. Statistics show that in the first four months of this year, 410 state-owned key enterprises realized a total profit of 352.6 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.3% (up 34.8% over the same period of last year). The efficiency of the petroleum, petrochemical, and power industries has dropped significantly, resulting in a total reduction of 66.34 billion yuan in profits for the two industries.
