Completion of the Ground Source Heat Pump Centralized Air Conditioning System Project of Jingtang Port Zhang Xu: Discussion on the Operational Strategy of the Composite Ground Source Heat Pump System Recommended Reading: November 7-9, by the Japan Institute of Earth Resources and Environment (GREEN) and Japan's Industrial Technology Integration The 9th Asian Geothermal Symposium co-organized by the AIST Institute, the Korea Institute of Geosciences and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) and the Japan Geothermal Resources Institute (GRSJ) was successfully held in Ibaraki City, Kagoshima, Japan.

The geothermal conference focused on "geothermal energy: safe, stable and reliable renewable energy". More than 40 representatives from China, South Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Japan and other countries attended the conference. The executive director of the China Energy Research Association and the director of the Expert Committee of the Geothermal Expert Committee of the China Energy Research Association A total of 7 representatives from Professor Zheng Kezhen, China Geothermal Power Generation Corporation, Tianjin Ganquan Group, and “Geothermal Pump” magazine attended the conference.

The guests present at the meeting made a corresponding introduction to the status and trends of geothermal development in the host country. Prof. Zheng Keji made a speech on "China Enhanced Geothermal System Research" at the meeting. He also introduced the "Dynamic Study of Thermal Water Balance in the Mining Stage of Geothermal Fields in Beijing Urban Area" for the temporary director of the Institute of Geothermal Engineering, Pan Xiaoping, who has not participated in the meeting. Director of the International Geothermal Association, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Geothermal Symposium and Dr. Yasuhiro Amine of the Japan Institute of Geosphere Resources and Environment introduced that Japan's 18 geothermal power stations were all safe and sound during the “311” quake. It will automatically shut down and disconnect from the power grid, but will restore power generation and transmission after several hours or days of automatic detection, thereby illustrating the connotation of the theme of the conference and the special significance of the conference; Dr. Yoonho Song of South Korea From the aspects of policy, capital and technology, we introduced the latest progress in the development and utilization of geothermal energy resources in China, and pointed out that the installation of geothermal heat pumps in Korea has increased by an average of 50% annually, and stated that Korea has approved the first enhanced geothermal system (EGS). Power generation project project.

The conference discussed the use of deep geothermal technology, and the use of shallow geothermal energy, especially the use of ground-source heat pump geothermal energy extraction, also emerged as an important issue in this conference. Dr. Lotfi Seghouani of Japan Industrial Technology Research Institute gave a report on “Numerical Simulation of Vertical Ground Heat Exchangers in Heat Pump Applications”. Using TRNSYS software, a series of multi-bore drilling with regular import/export interchange was conducted. The heat analysis of the ground tube heat exchanger made a thermal analysis and pointed out that it is beneficial to maintain the ground temperature balance of the drilling group and make the outlet temperature at the ground source constant, thereby avoiding the decline of the system performance. Prof. Isao Takashima of Akita University in Japan introduced the ground-source heat pump project in Thailand as the theme of a set of geothermal heat pump system in Bangkok, Thailand. According to its introduction, the first test of ground-source heat pump application in the tropics was conducted in Kamphamgpet, central Thailand, in 2006, and a ground-source heat pump system was also constructed in Bangkok in 2010. Although the underground temperature is only 5-10°C lower than the local atmospheric temperature, the ground-source heat pump still consumes 20-40% less electricity than an ordinary electric air conditioner. The ground source heat pump in Bangkok uses a horizontal buried pipe with a depth of 1m to cool the room. The test to date has not been completed for one year. The system is in good condition, the COP is 3-4, and the ground temperature recovers quickly. In tropical countries, it is best to choose a shallow horizontal buried pipe system because ground temperature and construction costs are the lowest.

Geothermal resources are important renewable energy sources. They have the advantages of cleanliness, environmental protection, and abundant resources. Compared with other renewable energy sources, they have the advantages of stable distribution, no need for conversion and direct use, and are not affected by weather conditions. At the same time, geothermal energy It is also an inexhaustible source of clean energy. However, due to geothermal conditions, the distribution of resources is relatively fragmented and development is also difficult. The use of geothermal energy is mainly divided into geothermal power generation and direct use of two major categories, at present, geothermal energy has been widely used in many countries and regions in the world. For example, in Japan, 18 geothermal power stations have been built, and deep geothermal fluids have been converted to power generation through the conversion of steam turbines. The total generating capacity has reached nearly 500,000 kilowatts. The organizing committee of the conference arranged the mountain and geothermal power station in Kyushu visited by the delegates to generate electricity through abundant local geothermal resources, which can meet the electricity demand of about 100,000 people. There are numerous examples of the direct use of geothermal water in Japan as a bathing and ornamental hot spring.

In addition, in addition to the answers to the questions raised by the participants, the meeting also predicted and looked forward to the future development trend of global geothermal utilization.
