From January to March, the total profit of the mining industry was 168.51 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 15.1%; the total profit of the manufacturing sector was 102.47 billion yuan, an increase of 13.9%; the electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply industries realized a total profit of 104.26 billion yuan. An increase of 29.7%.

From January to March, among the 41 industrial categories, the total profit of 33 industries increased year-on-year, with one industry flat and seven industries falling.

Among them, instrument and meter manufacturing industry realized a total profit of RMB 11.01 billion, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%. At the same time, additional data showed that the main business income of instrument and meter manufacturing industry in the first three months was 167.95 billion yuan, up 11.6% year-on-year; the profit from main activities was 10.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%.
