Huadian Indonesia Assam Class I Hydropower Station Completed

On the morning of August 30th, the completion ceremony of the Indonesian Assam Class I hydropower station (2×90MW) that was invested by Huadian Hong Kong Co., Ltd., Huadian Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd., and Huadian Power Generation Co., Ltd. was held on site. In the speech, Cloud Citizen, general manager of China Huadian Group, stated that the Assam Class I Hydropower Project is the first project of Huadian Group to undertake investment, construction, operation and maintenance tasks overseas. The completion and commissioning of the power plant is an important milestone in the overseas development of Huadian Group. It is also the crystallization of friendly cooperation between China and Indonesia. Asahan Hydropower Station is the main power support point for the local power grid. All relevant units of Huadian should ensure the long-term reliable operation of the power station. Huadian Group will use the successful cooperation of the Assaghan project as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and cooperation with relevant parties and actively promote the rapid economic and social development in Indonesia.
