· General Motors’ total sales in China increased by 6.8% year-on-year in July

GM China revealed on the 4th that GM and its joint ventures sold 270,529 units in the Chinese market in July, an increase of 18% over the same period last year, and renewed the sales record in China in July.
The performance of the Chinese auto market in 2015 was mixed, and this year it has already seen a recovery. In this context, in the first seven months of this year, GM's cumulative sales in China's auto market exceeded 2 million.
GM executives said that GM and its joint ventures have achieved cumulative sales of over 2 million units in China in the shortest time since the beginning of the year, thanks to strong growth in all segments.
GM expects that the size of China's auto market will reach about 30 million in 2020.
It is reported that GM's passenger car and commercial vehicle products imported, produced and sold in China are the first in the range of all-round multinational car companies in China. In 2015, GM sold more than 3.6 million units in China.
