From January to September 2010, the export of machine tool components in Taiwan increased by 101%

From January to September 2010, the export value of machine tool components in Taiwan was US$ 552.22 million, an increase of 101% year-on-year, of which:

• Exports to China and Hong Kong ranked first, amounting to US$316.64 million, accounting for 57.3% of total exports, an increase of 148% year-on-year.

• Exports to the United States ranked second, amounting to $36.95 million, accounting for 6.7% of exports, an increase of 34.5% year-on-year.

• Japan ranked third in exports, amounting to US$30.39 million, accounting for 5.5% of exports, a year-on-year increase of 113%.
