The process and equipment were jointly developed by Triangle Tire and Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Yang Weimin, a professor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, is the leader of this project. After two years of joint research, the two sides achieved major technological achievements in the field of tire vulcanization. The main achievements of this achievement are reflected in three aspects: the invention of a tire rigid metal internal mold mechanism to replace the traditional capsule; the development of electromagnetic induction heating system, replacing the traditional steam heating curing process; invented the tire direct pressure curing equipment intelligent control system and special manipulator. It has been verified that by using this new technology and supporting equipment, tire dynamic balance and uniformity can be significantly improved, and the vulcanization energy-saving effect is significant. At present, this achievement has been granted 11 invention patents, with complete independent intellectual property rights, and the market has broad application prospects. After listening to the report of the project team, on-the-spot investigations, inquiries and discussions, the expert group unanimously held that the scientific and technological achievements have filled the gaps at home and abroad and are at the leading international level. The appraisal meeting was organized by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
