E Instruments International has introduced the E8500 Cooled NOx Emission Analyzer.

When exposed to ambient temperatures above 86°F (30°C) and above 104°F (40°C), the accuracy of the Nox's main instrument, the NO gas sensor (purchased from the product library), will be analyzed. May be affected. E Instruments has recognized this problem and has introduced a new E8500 Cooled NOx Emission Analyzer that can get rid of this effect.

To prevent this temperature from affecting the NO sensor, the E8500 Cooled NOx Emission Analyzer uses an internal cooling system that keeps the NO sensor cool. The analyzer will display and record the NO sensor temperature to meet the requirements of the US Environmental Protection Agency's conditional test methods such as CTM-030. The E8500 Cooled NOx Emissions Analyzer also meets the requirements of the E Instruments Sample Processing Unit (SCU) standard. The sample processing device will cool and dry the chimney exhaust at the probe handle to minimize the time that the gas is in contact with the condensate.
